For a little something different try serving your guest this delicious cake using real bananas and topped with chocolate frosting. Pre-heat your oven to 350. Mix the following dry ingredients in a large bowl: 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. mini chocolate chips, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1-1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour.
Mix the following ingredients in a large bowl: 2 large ripe bananas, 3 Tbs. sour cream, 2 tsp. vanilla, 3 eggs and 3/4 c. butter or margarine. Slowly add the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Beat at low speed with a mixer till well blended. Bake in 11 X 13 inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool, top with chocolate frosting or powdered sugar.
