Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee

Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee

Fall, changing colors and cooler nights, a great time to get away.  After a long hot summer, Terry and I are ready to get away for a few days. I love Tennessee. Normally we head to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area but, this year we head for the untraveled territory of Nashville.

Nashville, the city of country stars and honky talk bars. I can’t wait to explore all that the city has to offer while doing a little bit of research too.  I spend my first morning doing a little market research.  I love the country fashion, flowing dresses and cowgirl boots, flashy belts and stylish hats. I don’t do a lot of shopping but, today I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Everytime I left a store I had a bag in each hand. It was great.  Being a performer it’s hard to find cloths but, the selection here was impressive.

During our visit we went horseback riding at A Cowboy Town, then attended a cowboy production followed by a catered dinner and bon fire. We stopped for a drink at the Wild Horse Saloon and took a carriage ride to see  the city lights. We took a dinner cruise on the General Jackson and enjoyed a fantastic Vegas style show. If you’ve never been to Nashville, I highly recommend a trip. Read on for more information about the great places we visited. Did you visit? Leave a comment!
